Network Management (Hardware) - Windmill Networks Integration Manager

Product/Technology:
Windmill Networks Integration Manager

Hardware or Software? Software

Launched: 2009 (New)

What it does? Windmill Networks Integration Manager (WIM) is the first appliance to greatly reduce the manual steps in maintaining network management applications and creates a true interoperable system that helps share resources across the network without being a manager of managers. Essentially WIM is a single entry for network element moves/ adds/ changes. It synchronizes data between existing network management applications and resolves omissions. As a result network managers benefit from time savings by not having to focus on record keeping. WIM communicates with the Windmill Agent installed on Network Management Application host or the WIM server. The datasets from the agents are normalized and the elements are matched between different applications which then allows analysis and change monitoring to be performed on the matched datasets.
