What it does? Wavelink Communicator provides push-to-talk communication that allows users to hold conversations between any voice-enabled computers”mobile or desktop running a Windows platform. By residing completely client-side (serverless) it eliminates the need for costly server-side hardware and software and can be deployed in a matter of minutes. Back office workers can communicate with front office workers regardless of the Windows platform running on their workstations. With the Wavelink Communicator organizations receive workplace flexibility through instant communication. By adding push-to-talk functionality workers can immediately communicate one-to-one globally or through a custom broadcast group.
What makes it Innovative? It resides completely client side eliminating costly and bandwidth-intensive server hardware and software.No need to purchase new devices with costly monthly service plans or usage charges. Users only need to carry one mobile device and the initiation of a call does not disrupt other processes on the device.
