Mobile - mBridge - MMS-Virtual Delivery

Product/Technology:
mBridge - MMS-Virtual Delivery

Hardware or Software? Service

Launched: January 2009 (Upgrade)

What it does? mBridge MMS Virtual Delivery is the newest version of Aicent's MMS delivery service that enables global carrier partners to offer subscribers a way to easily send multimedia messages to any non-enabled MMS phones including the iPhone across any network any time. mBridge works by allowing the recipient to download and reply to incoming MMS messages from a web URL link embedded in an SMS notification allowing subscribers who send the message to use their normal sending procedures. Unlike similar products on the market today Aicent's mBridge enables operators to instantly offer worldwide reach through successful MMS delivery.

What makes it Innovative? An exclusive feature of mBridge is the unique reply functionality. After retrieving the MMS message through the PC or mobile phone mBridge allows the subscriber to reply to the message using up to 300 characters- completely free of charge. This added benefit promotes two way conversation which encourages additional traffic.

With Aicent MMS-Virtual Delivery, there would be virtually no failed message deliveries due to disparate MMS launch status of the terminating operators. Aicent mobile operator customers now can collect from the sender MMS revenue that would have been lost due to unsuccessful delivery. By using Aicent MMS-Virtual Delivery, subscribers do not encounter failed message delivery due to disparate MMS deployments and can receive MMS regardless of operator’s MMS inter-connection status. Increasing successful MMS deliveries leads to better end-user experience, subscriber loyalty and greater usage, which translate to higher message volumes and revenues.
