Product/Technology: DigiLinX Audio, Video and Control system VL100/MLAV300/SW1024
Hardware or Software? Hardware
First Launched: August 2007
What it does? DigiLinX is world’s first completely IP-based audio/video distribution and control system, offering complete synchronization of audio and video to multiple zones. The encoder (VL100), decoder (MLAV300), and gigabit Ethernet switch (SW1024) are a suite of products that allow streaming uncompressed HD quality video signals to multiple displays on a TCP/IP network; compatible with native IP-Based video sources, legacy video sources such as Blu-ray, DVD, VHS, and D-VHS. DigiLinX offers seamless integration w/other systems – PCs, lighting, HAVC, security, and more on the Network. Simple installation and operation in open source architecture; no extensive programming like other analog-based systems.
What makes it Innovative? NetStreams developed patent-pending technologies, which ride over TCP/IP network protocols.
To distribute uncompressed video in real time over a gigabit TCP/IP network, NetStreams incorporates PerfectPixel technology, which provides 100% accurate picture replication; while its patent-pending StreamNet technology ensures the reliable transmission of synchronized audio, video and control packets across network.
