GO-Trust SD Solution technology allows any smart card or security IC chip to be embedded in a SD memory module (standard, mini or micro). this enables smard card based security applications to run on any device that accepts SD memory modules. More than a billion new clients on mobile devices like cell phones and PDA's can now run these applications. The SD solution includes a special controller and firmware in the SD module and a software security Best in the mobile device. The security Best provides all the conventional security API's so no modification of the application is required.
What makes it Innovative? It is innovative because no change is required to the mobile device, no change is required to the Security Application and it works with any smart card chip. Everything to run the security application on an out-of-the-box mobile device is included in the SD memory module. For the user it is 'plug and go'.
