Performance Throughput: AirMagnet Sensors are passive wireless scanners and as such are not in-line with traffic and don’t apply to traditional throughput measurements. However, sensors are designed to generate the least amount of traffic from the sensor, therefore preserving WAN bandwidth. Typical bandwidth consumption is around 4 kbps.
Interfaces: The AirMagnet Sensor includes a multi-band 802.11a/b/g wireless interface, an optional spectrum analysis interface, and a standard Ethernet 10/100 base-T port (802.3af compliant).
