Network Products Guide - 2008 Best Products and Services Terms and Conditions

By submitting your nomination for the 2008 "Best Products and Services" recognition and awards from Network Products Guide, you hereby agree to all of the following terms and conditions:

Nomination Deadline: All completed nomination forms and respective nomination fees must reach us by the due dates highlighted on www.networkproductsguide.com/awards/

Nomination Fees: All nominations fees must be paid in advance. Payments can be made by credit card or checks. Checks must be payable to "Silicon Valley Communications" and mailed to Editors - Best Products and Services, Silicon Valley Communications, 5201 Great America Parkway, Suite 320, Santa Clara, CA 95054 USA. Please use the payment coupon in the nomination form or CLICK HERE to download the coupon.

Nomination Forms: Download the nomination forms: www.networkproductsguide.com/awards/ and email to nominations@networkproductsguide.com before the due date.

Calculating Total Nomination Fee Amount for Each Product: For the 2008 Best Products and Services the nomination fee is calculated as follows:

      1 product nominated in 1 category = $200
      1 product nominated in 2 categories = $200 + $200 = $400
      1 product nominated in 3 categories = $200 + $200 + $200 = $600
        ...and so on.

Please submit a separate form for each product. Each form must have only 1 product but with all the categories for which it is being nominated (1 or more categories).

Special Categories: Special categories or Build Your Own Category are accepted only if the editors of Network Products Guide agree to accept your new category. Nominating a product in build your own category does not guarantee that your product will win. The product will have to garner a required number of votes to win. Your credit card fee payment will only be charged if your special category is accepted for inclusion in the voting booth by the editors.

Products and Services that are eligible to be nominated: Only products and services that currently exist and are available in the market can be nominated for this award and recognition.

Acceptance of your nomination(s): All nominations are subject to acceptance by the organizer’s. At the sole discretion of the organizer, any or all nominations may be disqualified, rejected or suspended. The organizer’s reserve the right to reject any nomination for acceptance without giving any reasons. No refunds will be made for any disqualified nominations.

Cancellation or Withdrawal: Withdrawal of any nomination will only be accepted if made in writing and made before the nomination deadline and acknowledged by Network Products Guide. After the deadline, withdrawals will not be possible and no refunds will be made.

How are the final winners determined? The finalists and winners are determined strictly through the highest number of votes received in each category. Votes from Vendors, PR agencies and employees of Silicon Valley Communications will not be counted. Channels Partners, System Integrators, VARs, Distributors, Retailers, End-Users, Consumers, Readers can vote. Duplicate votes will not be counted. Voters details will not be disclosed and their privacy will be respected. We do not sell email addresses. For more details please read the updated privacy policy. There may be more than one winner in each category if there is a tie in scores. Usage of award logos is on non-exclusive basis. Logos will be supplied in jpeg or gif format only and must link back to www.networkproductsguide.com High resolution logos in EPS format are available for a fee and upon signing an agreement of usage.

Disqualifying Votes: Suspicious voting patterns if any will be scrutinized by the editors of Network Products Guide.

Confidentiality of Voters: The organizers will not release the complete details of the votes and/or voters and will respect their privacy and confidentiality.

Where will the winners listed be published: Winners list is available once the editors have the results ready at: www.networkproductsguide.com/winners/

Award plaques, trophies, reprints, special reviews: Award plaques, trophies, reprints, special reviews and other marketing collateral can be ordered by winners as required at an additional cost.

Award Logo Usage: The award logo can only be used by the final winners of the 2008 Best Products and Services awards. All award logos are the intellectual property of Silicon Valley Communications and will not be altered, changed or misused in any way. All Nominees agree to use the award logo and other marketing collateral in accordance to the guidelines set by the Organizer. Changes in any guidelines may be issued from time to time and will be applicable till next guidelines are issued.

Press Releases and Announcements: Winners may make press announcements after getting their press release approved by the editors of Network Products Guide.

High Resolution Logo file: High resolution logos for exhibitions and marketing collateral will be made available only to winners under a license agreement and a usage fee.

Submission Errors and Corrections: The organizers will make best efforts to correct or rectify within reasonable means any errors or omissions, subject to be informed with a reasonable advance notice. As such the organizers will not accept any liability. Once voting has commenced, changes will not be allowed to voting pages except at the sole discretion of the editors. All requests to make edits to submitted nominations will cease 7 days after the nomination closing date.

Copyrights: You hereby agree to give unlimited copyrights of any and all submissions, messages, suggestions, ideas or concepts that are submitted to Silicon Valley Communications, publishers of Network Products Guide. Furthermore, Silicon Valley Communications is not responsible for the confidentiality of any information communicated to us unless clearly agreed upon and acknowledged by our editors in writing. By communicating material to Silicon Valley Communications, you agree that Silicon Valley Communications has the right to publish the material in products guide or publications for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising and promotional purposes. Any content received from you may be edited, reformatted, modified by our editors for inclusion in any of our publications without any prior clearances from you. Evaluation criteria can change without any notice. We reserve the right to refuse to evaluate any product without giving any reason. Decisions made by the editors of Silicon Valley Communications will be accepted as final from both sides.

Nominees: The Nominees of these awards refers to all companies owning the original product or authorized to deliver services or acting agents.

Organizers: The organizer of 2008 Best Products and Services is Network Products Guide published by Silicon Valley Communications, 5201 Great America Parkway, Suite 320, Santa Clara, CA 95054 USA.

These terms and conditions are applicable to all companies and their agencies nominating their products and solutions for these Network Products Guide awards. Any other terms and conditions not listed here will be acceptable only if agreed upon in writing by the Organizer’s of the publication.
